Got duplicate upgrades a lot, would be nice if you could shuffle the list of available upgrades and show the top 4 instead. The blast zones is a nice way of preventing the player from just standing still after getting strong. The X’es that mark where the enemies will spawn make the spawning feel a lot fairer, but still felt unfair at times when a red or yellow enemy spawned close enough to me to cause me to take damage. Range upgrades feels a little too OP, or maybe not having range upgrades is underpowered. I like that there’s no healing upgrades.

Game felt a little bit monotonous over time. The upgrades didn’t stand out in a way that made them fun, and the further I got the less it felt like I was being tested on skill. All in all a fun short game though.

Thank you so much for the detailed feedback. Although I think I won’t update the game any further I will keep all those things I mind for my next project. The balancing part is what I most struggle at when making games. I’m glad you had fun playing it though. :D

its ok, the random aoes are kind of irritating

Thanks for the feedback. The AOE’s (blast zone) are supposed to be the main threat to the player, and thus are a key component to the game. What’s your main issue with them? What would you change to make it less irritating?

just really don't find dodging them fun just makes everything feel stressfull and hard to relax and just enjoy surviving,

Cool game!

Nice game! Held out for 15 minutes, scoring 37303 with the laser, everything fully upgraded, then I quit. I think I entered 'infinite mode', could probably go on forever, but I've had enough :-)

Thank you! And thanks for the feedback, I will make sure to patch it.

Patch it how? Ramping up the difficulty you mean?

Exactly, I will probably make the “blast zone” (the big red explosion circles) more of a threat and adjust weapon damage to enemy health.

Nice. Got a score of 2059! Only suggestion is that you should add a delay for the upgrade screen or smth because one time I was shooting and went to the upgrade screen and just clicked something immediately by mistake.

Thanks. I was aware of that issue but couldn’t think of a way to fix it. I think now I know a way and will make sure to fix it in an upcoming patch.
